The Supreme Court defined ragging in following words:

“Any disorderly conduct whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness any other student indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities which causes or likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear of apprehension thereof in a fresher or junior student of asking the students to do any act or perform something which such students will not do in the ordinary course and which has the effect of causing for generating a sense of shame or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of the pressure or a junior student.”

As per XVC’ and Hon’ble Supreme Court Judgment:

“Ragging is totally banned and any one found guilty of ragging and /or abetting ragging is liable to be punished”.

Ragging is banned in this institution and anybody who will be ragged has all the right to report it to the authority for which action as deem fit will be taken.

There is nothing to be scared of. We inculcate courage and knowledge for personality development in a student. In case of trouble the 1^st year students are advised to contact the authority and members of the anti-ragging committee.  

There is an anti-ragging cell headed by   Principal of the college in charge of the cell for reserving issues relating to ragging and any kind of indiscipline. Ours women institution and the girls students of out college are very much disciplined.

Till date not a single case of ragging has been reported and recorded.

The anti-ragging cell has been established to provide peaceful and discipline atmosphere to all the students in the college campus. The students are asked to give an undertaking not to indulge in any type of ragging during the time of admission.
